alexandria 1/5/2018Dr Mohamed Sultan, Governor of Alexandria, accompanied Eng Tarek Kabil , Minister of Trade and Industry attended ” Egyptian-Greek Cypriot Business Forum "in Alexandria, organized by the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce. Egypt signed a number of bilateral cooperation protocols with Greece and Cyprus during the business forum held on the sidelines of the week of “Nostos: Reviving Roots Initiative".Sultan pointed out that the signing of cooperation protocols between the Alexandria Governorate and the cities of Greece and Cyprus aim to enhance economic, industrial and commercial relations as well as tourism with its two Mediterranean neighbours.Kabil stated that this would be a great opportunity for For many businessmen in Egypt to open new markets for the Egyptian product and to make other countries informed by investment opportunities in Alexandria. He also pointed out that a number of items of Egyptian exports to the Greek and Cypriot market achieved a steady increase during 2017 and that the total Greek investment in Egypt is 155 million dollars in 160 projects.
