Dr Mohamed Sultan, Governor of Alexandria, received Mr Hennady Laty, Ambassador of Ukraine to Egypt, to discuss means of promoting cooperation and strengthening relations between the two sides.The Governor stressed that Egypt has strong relations with Ukraine, especially in the field of tourism, adding that Alexandria is working to increase the proportion of tourism as to attract as many tourists as possible. He also welcomed the establishment of week of Ukrainian Cultural and Arts troupes depicting Ukrainian folklore on the land of Alexandria, as well as sending cultural shows from Alexandria to Ukraine in the framework of cultural exchanges between the two countries. He also pointed to the governorate readiness to provide all services and facilities to the Ukrainian community in Alexandria.
