During the celebration, the Governor of Alexandria emphasized the depth and strength of Egyptian-Russian relations, which continue to witness rapid growth and remarkable development across various political, economic, cultural, and scientific fields. He noted that these relations represent a solid model of strategic partnership based on mutual respect and the achievement of shared interests between the two friendly nations.
The Governor also praised the joint national projects that reflect the strength of cooperation between Egypt and Russia, foremost among them the El Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant Project, which is considered one of Egypt’s most significant strategic and developmental projects. He noted that the project reflects an advanced level of trust and integration between the two sides, particularly in the fields of energy and advanced technology.
For his part, the Russian Consul General in Alexandria expressed his pride in the longstanding historical relations between the two countries, affirming his country's commitment to advancing frameworks of joint cooperation with Egypt in general and with Alexandria Governorate in particular across various economic, cultural, educational, and tourism sectors.
The celebration was marked by a distinguished and friendly atmosphere that reflected the deep historical and human ties between the Egyptian and Russian peoples.
