Vice Admiral Ahmed Khaled Hassan Said- Governor of Alexandria, inspected the Alexandria International Sports Stadium to ensure its readiness to host any sports events.
Al Itthad SC is one of the oldest sports buildings not only in the Arab Republic of Egypt but also in Africa.
His Excellency reassured the stadium’s readiness before the start of the new football season and followed up all Activities and events hosted by the stadium.
During his inspection of the stadium, the Governor of Alexandria witnessed the camp of the first football team of Al Itthad Alex SC of Alexandria and its preparation for the new season.
The Governor shook hands with the players and the technical staff and congratulated the coach, Papa Vasileiou, the new coach, and the technical staff on assuming their duties.
The Governor of Alexandria asked the technical staff and players to do their best, to please their fans and Alexandrian people, wishing them all the best in the upcoming tournaments, stressing that Al-Itthad Club of Alexandria is one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs in the Republic.
