Major General Mohamed El Sherif Governor of Alexandria received the Ambassador Mohamed Nohad, General consoul of France in Alexandria, and his accompanying delegation,on their visit to Alexandria within the framework of exchanging experiences in the tourism and cultural fields.
This came in the presence of Dr. Jakline Azer, the deputy governor.
the delegation included, Mr. Denny zervdaki and his wife, who is one of the most important French authors and has many works, which are dedicated to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
During the meeting, El Sherif welcomed the French delegation to Alexandria, explaining that Alexandria has many historical, archaeological and tourist elements that make it the center of the Mediterranean, pointing out the keenness of the governorate to provide full care to tourist delegations .He stressed the depth relations between Egypt and France throughout history .
For their part, the delegation thanked the Governor of Alexandria for the warm reception and expressed their admiration for the sights they visited in Alexandria,
the program prepared for the French delegation was a visit to the Greco-Roman Museum, the royal jewelry museum, the Library of Alexandria, the Qaytbay Castle, the Aquarium museum, the Greco-Roman theater and Elmontazah gardens.
