Major General Mohamed El-Sherif Governor of Alexandria inaugurated the development of the House of the decent lineage ( the House of found children) in Al-Qabari , which is the only house in Alexandria governorate to receive children from day one to two years & That was by the directives of the political leadership to provide a decent life for those children
the Governor thanked Rotary for the comprehensive development works , effort & for providing the necessary modern equipment and devices. Pointing out that the House has become a role model for the efforts that made between state institutions and civil society.
He stressed that the governorate, in coordination with all concerned authorities, is keen to provide care and attention to children at that important stage of their lives in preparation for their subsequent transfer to the care homes of the Ministry of social solidarity.
Dr. Amira tahio confirmed that the ministry is pleased to have these children in its protection, as it provides them with all medical and nutritional supplies required for that important stage of a child's life, as they are cared through a medical staff , and followed up medically on a daily basis.
Dr. Emad Ibrahim thanked the noble work of Rotary in Alexandria . for their hard work and the continuous developing through the cooperation with the governorate, the Ministry of Health and the Directorate of Health Affairs brought the house to this honourable form.
Dr. Omaima el-Sheikh expressed her happiness to achieve the dream that she had always wished to implement on the ground,
the development work took four months, during which the house was transformed from a building unsuitable for human life to an integrated house that includes all the necessary services to ensure a decent life for children.
