Governor of Alexandria signs a cooperation protocol with Intilaq to support investments in Alexandria
Major General Mohamed El-Sherif, Governor of Alexandria signed a cooperation protocol with Intilaq company , within the framework of President Sisi's directives to provide full support to startups companies in the field of investment.
The governor stated that Alexandria is the economic capital of Egypt, due to its economic potential that attracts investment, pointing out that 40% of the Egyptian economy is located in Alexandria, and about 65% of Egypt's exports are carried through the ports of Alexandria Governorate.
Mr. Mohamed Ehab, CEO of Intilaq, expressed his eagerness to sign the first strategic partnership with one of the most important governorates of the Republic, Alexandria, stressing the company's goal to support the Egyptian entrepreneurship sector, to transform Egypt into a regional center for entrepreneurship in the Middle East and North Africa, and to create a link between Government agencies and startups, to support Egyptian entrepreneurs. He added that
the company will operate in Alexandria according to two main axes, the first of which is to provide training support to startups and entrepreneurs, with a focus on companies operating in the fields of green technology and tourism technology within Alexandria Governorate, and the second axis is to provide advisory services in the field of government relations, investment studies and public policies for startups in Alexandria.
