Today, Major General Mohamed Al-Sharif, Governor of Alexandria, participated in the inauguration of the NASA Space Apps Alexandria competition for the year 2022. In the presence of Dr. Mohamed El-Qous, the former head of the Egyptian Space Agency, Dr. Alaa Abdel-Bari, Vice President of the Academy, Dr. Hassan Al-Numan, Vice President of Sohag University, and Dr. Akram Soliman, Dean of the Faculty Engineering and Technology at the Arab Academy. 🔻 The governor thanked all those who organized the distinguished competition, which comes in light of recent developments taking place in the world, wishing success to all participants in the competition. 🔻 During the opening, the leading areas around which the competition revolves, including space sciences, astronomy, artificial intelligence, astrophysics, communication sciences, and other inspiring fields to encourage participating teams, were reviewed.
