Major General Mohamed El-Sherif, Governor of Alexandria, received in his office, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, and Consul General of Greece in Alexandria, to discuss ways to consolidate the relations between the two sides. During the meeting, the governor expressed his happiness to activate agreements between Alexandria and Greek cities, especially that the Egyptian-Greek relations are strong and historical, and increased during the last period in general through the cooperation between the two countries, through "Nostos: Return to the Roots", in particular with Alexandria, by establishing a shipping line linking Alexandria and the Greek and Cypriot cities to exchange tourist trips and delegations between the two sides. He stressed that the governorate provides services and facilities for Greek tourists, and already supports the greek community, which is a part of the Alexandrian citizens.
