Major General Mohamed El Sherif, Governor of Alexandria, received in his office, Mr. Jonathan Cohen, Ambassador of the United States of America to the Arab Republic of Egypt, to congratulate him on assuming his duties as Governor of Alexandria and discuss ways of cooperation and developing relations between the two countries. The governor welcomed the US delegation and stated that there are many aspects that can develop Egyptian-American relations.The ambassador and his accompanying delegation expressed their pleasure to visit Alexandria, thanking the governor for the warm reception and wished him continued progress and development as Alexandria is one of the most important economic and tourist governorates of Egypt, and the economic gate to Egypt.
