Major General Mohamed El-Sherif, Governor of Alexandria, accompanied by Dr Enas Abd El Dayem, Minister of Culture, and Dr Mostafa El Feky, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina participated in the opening of the Alexandria Arab Theater Festival for Specialized Institutes and Colleges at its first edition, organized by the Alexandria Academy of Arts under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Alexandria Governorate from 3 to 8 December. During the Governor speech, he welcomed all attendees and emphasised the governorate willingness to support all cultural activities as Alexandria is the capital of culture and arts through ages.This festival comes within the framework of the State's plan and strategy to spread culture and arts, and to embrace the young talents in our Arab countries since there are 7 Arab countries are participating from Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman and Lebanon.
