Alexandria Governorate

Mr. Hani Al-Messeiri, Governor of Alexandria, accompanied PMIbrahim Mahlab on a field visit to the Urban Development Project at Gheit Al-Enab. The project is undertaken by the Armed Forces, in cooperation with Alexandria Governorate and Alexandria Business Association, to establish a comprehensive residential city consisting of 1763 residential units, a commercial market a hospital, a police department, among other services. The visit took place in the presence of Eng. Hani Dahi, Minister of Transport, Gen. Mohammed Elzamleut, Commander of the Northern Military Region, and Dr. So’ad Al-Khouly, Deputy Governor. Mahlab said he is pleased with such a great project, which is a big leap towards urban development of slums within the governorate. He extended a tribute to all parties involved in the project. Al-Messeiri pointed out that development of slums and less fortunate villages is a top priority of the plan being implemented by the Governorate.
