Governor of Alexandria Discusses Outputs of Administrative System Development in Alexandria Governorate in light of Achieving the Vision of Egypt 2030
 
On Sun, 26 May 2019 Dr Abd El-Aziz Qonsowa , Governor of Alexandria, held an expanded meeting to discuss the outputs of the development of administrative processes in Alexandria Governorate, including institutional development and leadership development, this comes in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning, Follow-up and Administrative Reform. The governor stated that governorate is continuously working on the formation of an efficient and effective administrative system to achieve sustainable development for the vision of Egypt 2030. He stressed the importance of adopting the mechanisms and initiatives that support success such as the establishment of Alexandria Regional Training Centre for Capacity Building and Leadership Development. A cooperation protocol has been signed between the Alexandria Governorate and the National Academy for Training and Rehabilitation of Youth as to train and qualify workers. In order to implement the protocol, the "Professional Civil Servant" program was launched by the Ministry of Planning in collaboration with the National Training Academy to train leaders of the second and third cadres in the governorate. This also would support Egypt's role in Africa by providing excellent training services to develop the skills of government employees in Africa. He pointed out that the center is to be part of the African network of institutes and centres for the development of the skills of governmental workers. He added that this is the way that gives the opportunity to Alexandria to be an example and a role model to follow for continuous communication in sharing of knowledge and exchange of experiences.
