Dr Mohamed Sultan, Governor of Alexandria, accompanied by Dr Hisham Arafat, Minister of Transport, inspected the project of developing and expanding the developmental axis of the city of Borg Al Arab. Sultan stated that the aim of the Borg Al Arab Bridge is to eliminate traffic jam and to prevent accidents by these roads and axes. Sultan added that Alexandria is witnessing a remarkable boom in the development of roads, bridges and traffic junctions for highways west Alexandria to achieve the required traffic liquidity and shorten the time and distance between roads heading to the airport or the city of Burj Al Arab as well as from Sidi Kerir road and coastal road to Mehwar El -Taameer.
